1. My leadership accomplishments started in elementary school when I served on Student Council for two years. It continued in middle school when I was voted by my peers to be the ASB Commissioner of Action. I planned and executed games for students to earn points for their different action teams. I also volunteered as a student teacher at my Temple in a third grade Hebrew school class, teaching the students about Judaism, the Torah, its morals, and how to read, write, and translate Hebrew text. I have been in class council the past two years, this year as the secretary. On February 5, 2015, I will be traveling to Washington, D.C. to lobby California state legislators.

2. During high school, I intend to maintain my current GPA or improve upon it. This would help fulfill my goal of keeping a streak of a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school career. Moreover, another goal of mine is to get straight A’s all four years. My ultimate academic goal would be to be within the top 10% of my class. For leadership, my goal is to be in ASB my junior and senior years, hopefully becoming an officer my senior year. If ASB didn’t work out, then my goal would be to an officer in class council, both my junior and senior years. Last, but most definitely not least, my goal is to become more outgoing and influential towards other so that people can see me as someone who made a difference at Bonita, someone who can be remembered by their impact on fellow students and staff.

3. Being a leader at Bonita High School means being a respectable young adult who can guide others in the right direction. A leader stands up for what they believe in, even if others do not agree. A leader makes others feel as if their voices are heard and appreciated. A leader strives to make a difference in their community, whether it is in the school environment or outside of school. When it comes to new ideas, a leader is creative and innovative. I feel that it is critical for a leader to be organized and responsible, so when things go terribly wrong, they can handle a stressful or unplanned situation with ease and patience. A leader works well with others and is always willing to help in whatever way is possible. Someone who is willing to put in the time and the effort to get the job done or make a change defines a leader. A leader stands out to people of higher
