Affirmation Workshop

Review pages 205-217 in your textbook. For each affirmation, complete the sections for Current Reality, Vision, and the Affirmation. Each affirmation should be at least 1-2 sentences in length and should include action/emotion words.

There are 30 sample affirmations on pages 208-209. In addition, pages 213-217 contain an affirmation checklist and a list of helpful action/emotion words.

Example:
Current Reality: I am living at home with my parents while I go back to school.

Vision: I have my own place. I have my degree and a job in criminal justice.

Affirmation: I am smart and I am on the path toward greatness. Every day, I will conquer my challenges in education and achieve greatness. I possess the qualities needed to be successful. I am a hard worker and my potential to succeed is infinite.
