Car ownership is a great way for young adults to start branching off into the world. It represents a great deal of maturate. However, the teen's access to a car is often the most crucial factor in how often this freedom can be exercised. Some Teens get the privilege of owning their own car. Most just get a used car pasted down from a family member. There are many upsides to owning a car just as there are many downsides to owning a car. Some of the upsides include being more independent, it teaches a great deal of responsibility, freedom to come and go as one pleases, and the ability to obtain more money by getting a job and having a ride there every day.
The way a car can teach responsibility Is you have to manage the car as in you have to fill up the gas when the tank is low. Also by checking the air pressure in ones tires. The way a car makes you more independent is by helping oneself in doing what he or she needs to do everyday which could mean getting to school or getting to work on time. The best part about owning a car as a young adult is you won’t need your parents to drive you around anymore you can do it yourself .
