Heroic people are the topic of this paper, but who could possibly be heroic? Many people are heroic, Martin Luther King Jr., George Washington, Ellen, Harriet Tubman, Oprah, firefighters, cops, soldiers, survivors of 9/11, the Holocaust, and survivors of abusive relationships, and more people like these, all heroes all for different reasons. The people who are heroes in my eyes are some of the most world-renowned athletes; who persevered sexual abuse of someone who they trusted, a doctor. It all started in 2016 when a newspaper, The Indianapolis Star, wanted to know what the USA gymnastics team did with accused coaches of sexual abuse. That is how one of the victims took the opportunity that she got given. She starts Larry Nassar’s journey to court 40-170 years in prison now 1 ½ years later, after 200 or more women coming forward tons of victims from two decades of abuse. Olympic board members stepping down, months of investigation, the movement #metoo, days upon days of victims telling their story, here we are, Larry Nassar, the accused, women all over America, telling their stories, including the disturbing, twisted, and gruesome stories that they told, some with quite explicit detail.
They helped a disgusting, twisted, creep, get put behind bars plus they were willing to have their stories out forever and everyone will know what occurred to them. They are heroic because they told their stories inspired others, moreover while it was going on won medals, the judges helped out a lot also, the victims' stories all helped put this pitiful perverted man, Larry Nassar into
