The fleur-de-lis represents France. It is featured because the British had an alliance with the French.
3. Why is the Irish harp featured on the Coat of Arms?

4. What does the unicorn represent? Why would the rulers of England choose a unicorn to support their shield?
The unicorn and lion represent Scotland and England.
5. Why does the unicorn have a chain around its neck?

“Blessed are the peacemakers”- A ruler would include this in a coat of arms because it says, those that want nothing but peace will be blessed. Which also means they won’t start problems.
