Swine Flu
H1N1 was first discovered in early 2009. A few months after the first swine flu cases were reported, rates of confirmed H1N1-related illness were increasing in much of the world. When scientists finally realized how easily you could get H1N1 and how fast it spread they declared it a global pandemic. Today you can get H1N1 by eating contaminated pork, touching a contaminated surface or inhaling contaminated material. Swine flu has a variety of symptoms including:
Fever.

Body aches.

Cough.
Chills.
Runny or stuffy nose. Fatigue.

Diarrhea.
