To achieve 60% or above in the paper – either first or second time!Grade B: To link the key terms together to create explanations for fundamental processes such as the uptake of water through the roots, the carriage and release of CO2 or O2 or the movement of substances in the cell membrane. To achieve 70% or above in the paper – either first or second time!Grade A: To explain in detail the processes such as the production and secretion of proteins, the transport of assimilates through the plant and the Bohr effect and necessity for fetal haemoglobin to reduce in infants. To achieve 90% or above in the paper
