Graduates Study Challenges and Strategies for Success Making my decision to go to graduate school through an online program was difficult. I had no idea what to expect. However, with my administrator’s advice and encouragement, I decided to start on this new endeavor and take the challenge. My only experience as a student has been the traditional classroom, which alone produces in me a set of uncertainties about the challenges I will face. The unfamiliar setting, communicating through writing and being good at research are my three challenging areas. In order to juggle these and many my other responsibilities
Success in graduate school will require my diligent commitment to a well-timed management plan. This is significant in being able to balance my work, my family time, and my studies. I will continue practicing the online system and adhere to its many functions necessary to complete all tasks required by the instructors. Being aware of the instructor’s availability to answer any question and intervene in conflict resolution plays an important aspect in maintaining the teamwork going. My academic advisor is also an integral part of my online studies. Through his commitment to student guidance I can face my challenges knowing that I count on caring support in preventing anything or anyone to deter my desire to accomplish my career goals. Graduate study is a work in progress that I intent to continue until the end.
