This gospel is about Jesus telling his disciples about a sign in the moon, sun and stars and how everyone on Earth would be in dismay, intrigued by the sea and its waves, death will occur from freight of what is to come. The powers of Heaven will be shaken, and the Son of Man would be seen in a cloud descending with great power and glory. We would have to stand erect at the sight and know that our redemption would be at hand. We must beware that our hearts not become drowsy during the anxieties of our daily lives, the coming of the Son of Man will catch all by a surprise similar to a trap. We must maintain careful watch and pray that we, and all others on Earth, have the strength to escape the great trouble that is bound to happen and stand directly before the Son of Man. Today there’s so many different religions thrown around that some people just don’t know whom to believe. So when it comes down to it, the second coming of Christ will deeply affect those who don’t know what to believe in. Hopefully it wont be too late for them to repent. Most people will probably be terrified and
(Hopefully) beg for forgiveness at that very moment. This is very sad considering they spent their whole lives believing in a false god or no God at all. This gospel is pretty scary. I guess this is where that whole “fear God” saying comes in. I believe this gospel is extremely true, in the fact that people are going to be shocked and terrified; I’m one of those people.
