1. Give an example of how you have demonstrated leadership through an activity which had a positive instructional impact on your campus?

An example that demonstrated my leadership that resulted in our campus having a positive instructional impact was identifying the need of our ELL (ELA?) students’ in improving their low reading scores in a focused and relaxed environment. I wanted to provide an atmosphere in which reading would be the predominant focus. In order to provide this atmosphere, it was decided that students would thrive with the use of E-readers, as well as a relaxed outdoor setting in which the students, and in some cases, their parents could improve their English reading skills in order to meet State Regulated test scores (?). This entailed researching various ways in which our school could receive the funding necessary to provide the E-readers to our students. After approaching our school principal, and receiving the necessary approval, I wrote and submitted my first proposal to the Dollar General Education Fund (?), and was successful in having our campus awarded a 3,000.00 grant.
