Last Friday, I went to Art Gallery to see Liu Baolin’s exhibition. And I really like Liu Baolin’s exhibition. There showed a sentence which was wrote by him. It said: “My art is cultural. It represents the diminishing humanity in today’s society. I use my art to be retrospective on culture, the environment and fast economic development.” From his statement, I can understand that he wants to show Chinese culture to the whole world. I feel really proud of him, because he can show the different kinds of culture to other country’s people. Those cultures will help other country’s people to know China more accurately.
Hiding in the City No. 86 made me excited. In this picture, there was a stadium which was built in preparation for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The name of this stadium is called Bird’s Nest, because it looks like a bird’s nest from its shape. When government building this stadium, there were many residential buildings were demolished. A lot of occupants got money for compensation. And they have to move to other place. From this act, we can understand Beijing is changing a lot. Beijing becomes more urbanized.
