Writing to argue
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to tell you that my child deserves a place at the Coram foundling hospital, more than anyone else. I’ve heard that coram foundling is a great care hospital for children and that they take great care for the children. One of my friend’s children going to the hospial said that you give the children great love and care, that us parents can’t give.
Although, he a has gap in his education ( due to the costs of the school), he is well mannered and is likely to succeed in life - with your help! With your help, you can make my child a better person for the community, for your community. Without doubt, my child will have a major impact on the hospital. What more could you want? “No mother’s love, no father’s care” – you could be those parents, the mother that loves their child, that father that cares…
Even my friend’s son called Mish who was not treat well during childhood but when he was admitted at the Coram hospital he is now said to be so much “more happier and healthier”. My child is already healthy, he just needs some tender loving care which is only possible from your outstanding service.
You can provide food. We can’t. You can provide shelter. We can’t. You can provide clothes. We can’t. I am giving my child to you knowing that he will brought up in a place where he can confidently practice his faith, without having the excuse of being poor as a barrier to learn about Christianity.
