Decoration
Decoration in any kind of event should take you away from where you are, it should be able to transport a person and give them a lasting expression. The approached with the décor aspect of the function is to find a way to incorporate all three of the chosen countries by having the different colours follow simultaneously together in harmony. These countries are located on the Mediterranean shore line so reference to the ocean would also try to be noted, accenting more of the neutral colours to give an eye catching feel of not being in a school but to really take them on a journey. To have them experience something different not just any other dining experience that they have already had.
Greece consists more of neutral and light colours that have a very soft feel to things, with colours more on the whites and different shades of blue, you would also find orchids rich in purple, light blush apple blossoms and many other flowers that have a soft, light colour. Italy pairs well with Greece even though Italy has its reds and greens, when it comes to flowers they go hand in hand where Italy’s flower array consists of white jasmine’s, purple violets and bluebells that range from different shades. Gifting flowers of white lilies and yellow and pink roses really shows the simple beauty that Italy brings to the table.
Spain brings bolder colours, you can tell from their flag and you can see how it goes right down to the flowers. With red mixing with orange, oranges that stand on their own the rose is the dominate flower of Spain and is seen more often in all of its different colours and also by itself. Each country has its own colours and its own unique style to offer, something different that they can each portray that will not be hidden by the next, the main goal being that everything flows and is matching with the culture of each country.

Entertainment
Also with the entertainment the same thought was put in place. Combining the music with some dancing into the function. Belly dancing (Greek) in the cocktail hour, some jazz (Italy) and some Spanish music to set the tone and give the feel of being in these extraordinary countries. Really showing them the different cultures and the vibrant colours that each has to offer in its own way, the different food and drinks following with each light and sound.
With the entertainment portion of the event there will be something that represents each of the countries in a different way, during the cocktail hour where Greece, Italy and Spain will be introduced by small samples of each country there will be light music from a guitarist for a small portion and then a short performance of a belly dancer to start giving the guest a small look at what they would be seeing once they have entered the dining area. Once they have been seated and the host starts announcements of the evening’s event it will be followed by another performance by the dancer just before they are served the dishes from Greece.
After they have had the first two courses we want to take them to Spain for some excitement, starting off with a small salsa/Latin dance though they are not originally derived from Spain you can find it in clubs or just in general the nightlife of Spain. Something that will really have them at the edge of their seats, after it is completed they will be served the first course from Spain while light music is played. Upon finishing both courses a short dance called the flamenco that is more associated with the south region of Spain will be performed before moving on to the next course.
As Italy is the last country a more fun and light approach would be taken to end the night on a fun note, Italy known for its famous fashion shows we wanted to go along with this atmosphere. an aim of five severs to be dressed in nice bright flowery clothing and have a small fashion show for the guest, while this is going on the other serves will be accented with smaller bright items to keep the essence
