Research on the Employee Motivation of the Post 80's Under the Background of China
Abstract
In view of the practice situation of 'the post 80’s is lack sufficient motivation', the paper mainly discussed the literature review in both motivation theories and studies on the post 80's so as to frame a theory on organizational motivation.
The paper is full of theoretical and practical significance. On the one hand, it is necessary to study this special group, the post 80's, so as to perfect the theatrical motivation system and fill another blank in the research of motivation of the post 80's. On the other hand, the post 80’s have become the main job force in China. In this sense, it is necessary to study them so as to control and reduce talents drainage and advance the enterprise performance.
In addition, the paper creatively established a whole framework of 'the post 80's motivation', researched the influence of perceived motivation on the 80s employees, discovered the strange phenomenon of 'dislocation of Hygiene factors, and lack of incentive factors'. In this sense, it has made certain contribution to existing motivation theories and proposed constructive suggestions to managerial practices.

1. Introduction with the development of Chinese economy, the post 80's has gradually entered the workforce and become the main force and the backbone of enterprises. The post 80's has injected vitality for enterprises; however, they also put forward a new problem for managers such as job-hopping. Some managers even considered the post 80's as “the most difficult managed employees in history".
Talent is one of the core elements of enterprises and sustainable competitive advantage (Clayton, 1972). What’s more, there is not a recognized and generally accepted conclusion about the motivation of the post 80’s. Therefore, this paper will mainly discuss how to motivate the post 80’s in workplace.
2. Literature Review
2.1 The emergence and development of Incentive Theories
2.1.1 Connotation of Motivation
Motivation means that someone is being pushed aside to do something. Previous studies have found a large discrepancy between definitions of the concept because of differences in research perspectives.
In terms of view of process, Atkinson (1964), Mowday and Shapiro (2004) believed that motivation is a process that affects direction, intensity and persistence of individual behavior. But from the perspective of contents, Robbins argues that motivation is a willingness to work hard so as to reach organizational objectives. Latham (2004) defined motivation as 'a series of factors that promoted behavior'.
2.1.2 Classical Theories of Motivation
Since a detailed overview of Maslow's hierarchy of needs and Hygiene-Motivational Factors (Herzberg, 1959) are both covered in textbooks, so it will not be discussed in this point.
2.2 Related Research on Existing Incentive Factors
Usually, motivation is achieved
