Personal responsibility is a duty or task that you are required or expected to do. Personal responsibility is also one that in which you control the consequences of your own actions. To be successful in college a student must take full advantage of their responsibilities to meet the requirements and do the work that is expected to succeed in college. What personal responsibility means to me is the act in which I am considered accountable for the choices that I make. That being said I cannot blame anyone for my bad decisions but myself. While I have personal responsibilities, school work is more important. To effectively achieve personal responsibilities you must hold yourself accountable for what you are trying to accomplish.
