(PETA), “Right now, millions of mice, rats, rabbits, primates, cats, dogs, and other animals are locked inside cold, barren cages in laboratories across the country.
They languish in pain, ache with loneliness, and long to roam free and use their minds. Instead, all they can do is sit and wait in fear of the next terrifying and painful procedure that will be performed on them.” Is it fair to treat them as objects of experiments so that humans can have a better life? Almost 26 million animals are used as experiments in America every year, and none of them guarantees success. Why should people risk an animal’s life for no reason?
Although it is necessary that scientists test their experiments and theories before they deliver them to humans, there are a vast number of other possibilities that can accept or deny them instead of killing animals.
One of the reasons people should fight against the use of animal for testing medicines and health products is because commonly these experiments include brutal and merciless procedures that end with the animal’s life, and do not help in the path of verifying the success of the theory. Usually animals are deprived from water and food, forced to physical injures, and also forced to remain injured in order to study the process of healing.
Also, with all the current technology, experts have found that animals can be replaced. The use of human cells for testing subjects
