SUMMARY
This feasibility study is to determine whether Pretzel Makers should upgrade the refrigerated beverage dispensers to make lemonade. Over the past 12 months, not only our customers but also ourselves have been inconvenienced by the dysfunctional lemonade machine.
My recommendation: I recommend replace the lemonade dispensers machine with Carthco D15-4 Single Bowl 5 Gallon Refrigerated Beverage Dispenser.
INTRODUCTION
Pretzel Makers opened for five years, we purchased a high quality lemonade dispenser machine. Over time, the machine is going down and have the major problem with the refrigerant.
The major reasons of why Pretzel Makers needs to upgrade lemonade dispenser machine because it can’t keep the lemonade last long. Customer are dissatisfied with the quality of lemonade and ourselves also have hard problem with this. Since the holiday season is coming, the demand for lemonade increase, we will not satisfy the customer without the lemonade machine. Therefore, we need to upgrade as soon as possible.
During the summer, our revenue have decreased since people enjoy outdoor activities instead of walking around in the mall. Thus, funds for upgrading the machine are limited. I have researched that we need a $1000 budget for the lemonade machine.
CRITERIA
By replacing the old machine, it can improve our revenue. It will satisfy customer and reduce the time we spend on making lemonade by hand.
The cost is the main concern in upgrading the machine. It can be treated in several way. We are seeking for an alternative that have the cost reasonable with our budget.
METHOD
I interview my manager to get more information about the existing lemonade machine such as brand, size, cost, advantage and disadvantage.
