Excel file details
1) You will want to build separate tabs for baseline data to save in original form for your company. Download the Excel financial data from Capital IQ on Canvas.
2) Assess the liquidity position of each company using the following ratios – (1) current, quick ratio (together in one graph) (2) AR turnover in days, inventory turnover in days, and operating cycle (together in one graph). This step should be in a single tab labeled “liquidity.”
3) Assess the solvency of each company by graphing the (1) times interest earned, fixed charge coverage ratio (together in one graph), and (2) debt ratio of each company. This step should be in a single tab labeled “solvency.”
4) Create a “profitability” tab where you will create graphs for: (1) Gross profit margin, operating profit margin, and net profit margin (together in one graph), and (2) total asset turnover and (3) return on assets.
5) Create graphs using your Capital IQ data for your company that compare (1) the basic and diluted EPS over time (together in one graph), (2) a single graph for your company showing the P/E ratio over time, and (3) a single graph showing the dividend payout ratio over time. This step
