an explanation of factors location, working conditions, hours of work, health and safety, equipment, resources, theorists e.g. Maslow and Herzberg, social events, impacts on motivation

working relationships management style; teamwork e.g. Belbin; job roles and lines of responsibility; channels of communication; equal opportunities e.g. equal pay, legislative requirements; grievance and disciplinary procedures;

incentives remuneration; performance-related pay; incentive schemes eg commission, bonuses; discounts; holiday entitlement; pension schemes; perks e.g. company cars, uniform/meals provided; opportunities for promotion and progression; impact on motivation
