Executive Summary Riordan
Riordan Manufacturing is Fortune 1000 company of global plastics employing over 550 people. Riordan Manufacturing is an exclusively owned subsidiary of Riordan Manufacturing Industries with revenues exceeding $1 billion. The company is headquartered in San Jose, California, and has offices internationally (Riordan Manufacturing, 2015). Riordan's modern technology and advanced expansions in plastic injection molding allowed Riordan to become an industry leader of trailblazing engineers of plastic packaging and products with facilities in San Jose, California; Albany, Georgia; Pontiac, Michigan; and Hang Zhou, China (Riordan Manufacturing, 2015).

The management team is led by Chief Executive Officer Dr. Michael Riordan, Executive Assistant Jane McCall, Senior Vice President R&D Kenneth Collins, Chief Operating Officer Hugh McCauley, Director of Accounting & Finance Controller Donald Bryson, and Vice President of International Operations Charles Williamson Cost Accountants from each plant, along with inventory managers from each plant (Riordan Manufacturing, 2015).
Marketing and Sales
The Riordan Company is in the process of consolidating client data to offer the client better customer service (Riordan). They currently have different databases that keep their historical records to include paper and microfiche (Riordan). The marketing and sales plan starts with consolidation into a CRM system. Currently, Riordan has between 15 and 20 major clients, including a contract with the government. The marketing objective was created by Dr. Riordan together with the supervisory team. The marketing objective is to increase sales to current clients by increasing sales force campaigns, price markdowns and client user groups; in addition to expanding sales to new clients by employing public relations actions, trade shows, brand development and sales force promotions (Riordan). The main issue is that there is not a current CRM system in place that would allow the company to keep track of current customers. Once the CRM system is in-place this will allow new customers to be added and all customers to get better results from the company.
