a) King John I: Magna Carta – The key idea is when a person is arrested, he/she has the right to defend themselves. He/she is innocent until proven guilty
Amendment XV to constitution of the U.S – The key idea is having the right to vote.

b) The key idea of King John I: Magna Carta is the idea that when a person is arrested, he/she has the right to defend themselves. He/she is innocent until proven guilty. As the Magna Carta reads, “No freemen shall be taken or imprisoned or disseised (injured) or exiled or in any way destroyed, nor will we go upon him nor send upon him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of the land.” This means that a free person is not to be punished in any way, shape or form until he/she is proven guilty. The Magna Carta also states that "to no one will we sell, to no one will we refuse or delay, right or justice.” This means that the court hearing that takes place will be fair, hjonest and without delay.
Amendment XV to constitution of the U.S. The key idea of the Amendment XV to constitution of the U.S – 1870 is having the right to vote. He/she has the ability and the right to place a vote on who they want to run their country. The amendment states that, “the right to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, colour, or previous condition of servitude.” This means that regardless of the person’s skin colour,
