Dear Alex:

My dearest brother who remains a part of my past as a glorious keystone of wisdom, knowledge, and kindness. I simply write to thank you for everything Big Al. Even though the story starts out in a galling manner of consistent fights and extraneous feuds, the perseverance of brotherly love has prevailed. Over our 16 years together, the overwhelming wisdom I have gained from every influential speech or piece of advice you have ever given to me, I have been exceptionally grateful for. As time progressed from a life of adolescence to a mature, young man, I have been groomed for success in the eyes of you, my beloved idol. As you would do, I would do. If your passion was exerted and caught by the slimmest part of my eye, I would ensue the same passion. You were the reason for my heavy involvement in football. You were the reason for my consistently just morals. You were the reason for my diligence towards education. You were the reason I strived to be amongst the few and ethical people on this planet, like yourself. But every man has his weaknesses, and yours soon arose from the clean grass paved by the righteous values you once preached. In that time of weakness, I apologize for not being there for you like you were for me. I wasn't the little brother or family member that I presumed myself to be.
