“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1) If you accept this Statement it will open your eyes to the discovery of the God that we truly serve today. The society of the world that we live in today may not understand who God really is. Many fear him because of lack of understanding, some due to their sinful nature, and some who just do not believe he even exist. The God that created all in the beginning is the same God that is alive and being served today all around the world. He is the equivalent of a perfect natural father, he sees and hears all we do. He cares for the desires of our hearts and loves his children more than you can ever imagine. He is full of mercy and grace, but above all us he just desires us to seek him. The God we serve created the heavens and the earth in a period of 6 days. Adam was formed from the dust of the earth in God’s image and Eve from Adam’s rib and together they became one flesh. “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24) There was a serpent in the Garden of Eden that deceived Eve resulting in a sinful nature for all mankind. The same sinful nature that we battle daily in our lives today. Men and women of today often leave home to unite with the same sex, due to being deceived by Satan. God’s plan was for man and woman to populate the earth and today’s society is disrupting his will, which will end with the fall of man just as it did in Genesis ch.3 Wickedness in the world began to increase as the population grew from Adam and Eve’s descendants. God began to see this and his heart became troubled, just as I am sure that it is this very moment with some of us. God is a very merciful but a very just God and seen all the wickedness and said “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race that I have created – and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground – for I regret that I have made them.” (Genesis 6:7) God called on Noah to build an ark and take his family, along with a pair of every animal that he had created. He vowed to flood the earth for 40 days and 40 nights to destroy all remaining creation. After many months the flood was over and the earth was dry then God ordered for all things to reproduce and repopulate the earth and so it began. God established an agreement with Noah and his sons to never flood the earth again, leaving the rainbow as a sign for all to see and remember his promise. As we stand in faith to believe, God is coming back again but the hour is unknown by any man. Fire will consume this earth as God still holds tight to the promise of so many years ago. As the population started to grow, many started to move eastward and establish towns and villages. Some even had the idea to build a tower to reach to the heavens. God sensed their rebellious pride flaring up and come down from the heavens to disburse them all over the world. Our culture today is much the
