Animal Testing is bad science. Since 1922, millions of mice, rats, rabbits, cats, dogs, monkeys, and other animals are locked inside cold, barren cages in laboratories. They suffer from pain, ache, and loneliness. All they can do is sit and wait in fear of the next terrifying and painful procedure. We can all work together in ending Animal Testing by buying cruelty-free products, requesting alternatives to animal testing, and donating to animals used in harmful procedures. The first step you can take in ending Animal Testing is by buying cruelty-free products, by doing so you can save thousands of harmless and innocent animals. Companies aren’t required to label their products if they’ve been tested on animals. But other companies that don’t practice animal testing often print cruelty-free, not tested on animals and even “Vegan” on their labels. More than 1,300 companies have banned animal testing but there is still corporations that enforce animal testing. Would you still buy a product that has previously blinded, poisoned or killed an animal just for your own good, so you can look “fashionable”? Alternative testing now exist that can replace the need for
Animals. Animals are used to predict the toxicity, damage, and other safety variables as well as the effectiveness of the product. But now scientists have developed many new effective and better alternatives to animal testing, and of course cruelty-free to any animal, or person. Some alternatives to the use of animals in testing include, using computer models and simulations. Using Vitro tests methods and models based on human cell and tissue. The use of human tissue in toxicity testing is more accurate than the animal models. Non-animal tests are more cost-effective and convenient. In contrast of waiting weeks for results when using animals, you can get results within three minutes to four hours using InVitro International’s Corrositex (synthetic skin) method. Cruelty-free products are more environmentally friendly. In toxicity testing researchers breed, test, and dispose of millions of animals as hazardous waste.
