The compassionate, warmth, and determination that my family truly and deeply poses, helped mold me into the person I am today. Seeing my mother and siblings go out of their way to help someone in need, helped me grasp these sensational virtues. I understood that everlasting feeling of joy, accomplishment and self-worth that making a difference in someone's life was when, in my turn, was helping friends of mine with assignments in class, or even people I didn't know crossing the street, carrying shopping bags to their doorstep and even something as simple as putting a Band-Aid on a child's cut. I firmly believe that being a nurse is my calling in life. My eagerness to learn, help people and personality along with my efficiency will benefit any of my future employers and certainly make me a better person and remarkable nurse.
I want to be a nurse because my life experiences have taught me to have compassion for people. My decisions also led me to be a teenage mom and married by the time I was 18. My childhood and my marriage have taught me to fight hard for something you believe in, not to ever give up. I want to carry this compassion over into nursing, to love people that are broken not only in their body, but in their spirit and emotions. I think when you have experienced hurt and pain in your own life it is easier to relate to people who are hurting and need healing
An education is something that one can keep for a lifetime. Acquiring a good education can affect one’s personal life, one’s community, and one’s entire generation.
The only person who truly controls how educated I am, is me. My education feeds my intelligence, and since I want to be an intellectual, I want an exemplary education. In the end, no one can transfer knowledge from one brain to another, like a money transfer from account to account. It is
