Mr. Pence,

The main issue of the bill we are looking at is employers more or less looking to not hire anyone who is currently not employed at the time. States such as New Jersey and Oregon as well as Washington D.C. have already passed laws making it illegal to discriminate against the unemployed. We need to take a side in this before we are approached with the bill.

The best argument in favor of this bill going through is that it is not only immoral to discriminate against people without work, it its downright cruel. Employers should take in consideration that with this economy, not everyone is out of a job by choice. By passing this bill we not only gain support from the lower middle class, but we can also begin to plant the seeds for a possible run at the White House in 2016.

To be honest I do not see a real positive side to the bill with the exception to the idea that many of these wealthy businessmen who run these companies in Indiana, could lose a lot of money if the right case was made against them. A claim against any of our larger companies locally could hurt our economy and right now that may just be enough to not go through with this. We need the state looking strong as that is only going to be a reflection of you.

If this were up to me, I would say that we have to pass this. Taking a stand on a topic such as this could lay the groundwork for our White House bid and Washington will notice this. 15 other states are thinking about passing this, if you
