What is CAD and how can it be treated?
High blood pressure is called the silent killer, explain this.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is atherosclerosis. Which is referred to as plaque in the artery walls of the inner lining of the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart .CAD begins when hard cholesterol substances (plaques) that are deposited within the coronary artery. The coronary arteries the arise from the aorta ,which is adjacent to the heart .The plaques then narrow the internal diameter of the arteries which may cause a tiny clot to form which can obstruct the flow of blood to the heart muscle .The symptoms of CAD include ,chest pain which is caused from the inadequate blood flow to the heart, heart attack ,which is caused from the sudden total blockage of the coronary artery .The worse symptom is sudden death .This disease is very serious and can be treated by controlling the symptoms and slowing or stopping the progression of the disease. Some medicines that are used to slow the progression down are aspirin, beta-blockers, and lipid management

High blood pressure is called the silent killer because it often has no warning signs or symptom’s, and many people do not know that they have it.That’s why its important to check your blood pressure regularly .Rarely, high blood pressure can cause symptoms like headaches or vomiting. There’s only one way to know whether you have high blood pressure—have a doctor or other health professional measure it. Measuring your blood pressure is quick and painless. Its just best to go get a check at least once a year, and it is always a good thing to lay of foods with lots of cholesterol.
