Discrimination is very unconstitutional it violates our natural born rights. This is why we have the Bill of Rights which protects these rights. Discrimination is everywhere and it comes in many forms in our daily lives. Some of these actions were allowed here in the USA and some are still allowed. Discrimination is the prejudicial and or distinguishing treatment of an individual based on their actual or perceived membership in a certain group or category. We as humans discriminate others based on religion, race, age, sexual orientation, and social status. This is what I will write about in my paper and try to understand why we have these feelings. Is it because of human nature or fear of something different? First of all I will talk about how we discriminate each other based on our social status. We see clear as day how the rich get treated better than middle class citizens. They have the money, the power, and also the fame. When they are in trouble in the public view they get a slap on the risk they somehow seem untouchable. We as the people put them in a higher category we idolize them. For what we gave them that power their voice if it wasn’t for us they would be in the same boat as us. The rich pay fewer taxes while the middle class pay more. The rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer why not turn it around. Tax the rich more and fewer for the second class citizens we are people to this crime isn’t right at all. Because no one is looking out for us so we get treated like crap because we don’t have the money we get look down upon because of money. If this isn’t discrimination now I don’t know what to call this and this has to change. Next I will talk about age discrimination now this isn’t too much of a huge problem now a day’s but it was. Now this form of discrimination is mostly found in the workplace. So imagine that you are at work and out of the blue you hear someone teasing about your age behind your back. How would you feel embarrassed, ashamed, or hurt? Also why should anyone especially a grownup have to deal with this? Well not anymore back in 1967 the age discrimination in employment act was passed. This law protects individuals who are 40 years of age or older from employment discrimination based on age. The ADEA’s protections apply to both employees and job applications. Under the ADEA, it is unlawful to discriminate against a person because of his/her age with respect to any term, condition, or privilege of employment, including hiring, firing, promotion, layoff, compensation, benefits, job, assignments, and training. The ADEA permits employers to favor older workers based on age even when doing so adversely affects a younger worker who is 40 or older. It is also unlawful to retaliate against an individual for opposing employment practices that discriminate based on age or for filing on age discrimination charge, testifying, or participating in any way in an investigation, proceeding, or litigation under the ADEA. This law does not protect workers under the age of 40, although some states do have laws that protect younger workers from age discrimination. It is not illegal for an employer or other covered entity to favor an older worker over a younger one, even if both workers are age 40 or older. It is unlawful to harass a person because of their age. Harassment can include offensive remarks about a person age. Although the law doesn’t prohibit simple teasing,
