Definitive Hero Essay "I'm your father", said the figure dressed in black. Luke could not believe what was said. His reply was a simple but meaningful "NO" and then he jumped. As luke freefell through the cloud city Bespin, His life flashed before his eyes. he remembered coming home to find his only family members ( that he knew of at the time ) charred to a crisp beyond recognition. Luke vowed revenge and to take down the evil empire. Luke later on in his life successfully blew up the death star and was awarded for his bravery. everyone thought the war was over, until the empire launched a secret attack beginning part two of the war. now here is luke the "hero" freefalling to his death. Luke would of had died but on his way down he managed to grab on to a ledge for dear life. He was eventually rescued and while getting his hand replaced started to stir and conjure his thoughts. Years later luke sat by and trained until his sister and han solo needed help. Luke successfully took down one of the biggest rimelords in the galaxy which showed how brave and courageous luke really was. Luke wasn't satisfied, he still wanted to destroy the empire once and for all and he wanted to find out who exactly darth vader is and what he knew of luke's father. On his long journey he met plenty of friends (and enemies). He then snuck onto the planet that would finally mark the end of the war (and his journey).
