It takes a team to succeed, no one can do it alone. You know that together everyone achieves more, when working as a team. This is not individually. Not on our own strengths. Not with our own ideas. It is in team of people, helping you accomplish a goal. Whatever work you may do or try to do as a person, you always have other people, who form a team, helping you achieve that end result. Some of these people have already been suggested but they may be( teachers and parents when at school, coaches physios or mentors in sport or) As famous author Helen Keller once stated, ‘Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.’
Everyone here knows Dr Ben Carson. Arguably one of the world’s best neurosurgeons, who successfully separated the first set of conjoined twins, joined at the head. Yes he individually separated the heads and brains. But he did not do it on his own. It was not his individual effort. The Doctor was not the only person in the operating theatre was he? He didn’t work alone work separating these little German boy’s. He had an anaesthetist team, cardiac professors, qualified surgeons, plastic surgeons, nurses, blood donors, he had the works. Yes, he may have been the individual who went ahead with the 22 hour operation. Yes, he may have been the head surgeon who actually separated the twins, but, no he could never have done it successfully without any team. There is no ‘I’ in team.
