Proposition:
Abortions should be allowed.
Affirmative Argument:
Abortions should be allowed because women get raped and impregnated and they don’t choose to get raped let alone pregnant. Also, it is their body and their choice. According to abortion.procon.org, “Choosing abortion is a women’s right that should not be limited by government or religious authority and which outweighs any right claimed for an embryo or fetus. As you can see, people have different views and religious views about abortions. Women should not have to think about if they want to bring an unwanted child in the world. That is forcing her to do something that is not wanted. Therefore, if a child is conceived because of rape, the mother will know that for the rest of her life and most likely the child will found out and be damaged.”

1st Rebuttal:
Abortions should be allowed because it is their choice and their body. If she isn’t ready to be a mother, she shouldn’t have to be forced too. She also shouldn’t have to be forced to have it and put it up for adoption. It is legal today because of their fundamental right.
