September 12, 2012 When a person becomes deceased, the amount of control they have over any living person should be minimal. The living should be the only people who can affect the living. In the case of family relations, only the live relatives should be able to have control. In wills the deceased might have stated that this person be not a lot to do a certain task. In this case respect to the dead should be paid by fulfilling the act unless it is too unreasonable. People should be still allowed to make their own decisions even if a living person or a dead person wishes the opposite of a certain act. If people couldn’t leave things in a will it should be the job of the deceased either parents or close relatives, be it brother, sister or child, to decide what will happen with the deceased items. The person who is distributing the items of the deceased should be a able to show just cause of giving one person a certain item and the distributer should also be responsible and would need to have known the deceased very well. The problems that would arise from this situation would be there would be fighting over who gets to distribute the items. Much arguing would be created, but a solution could be, if there was no decision on the distributer, would be that everyone close to the deceased will decide what to do with the items.
