Dear Lorraine, I know that you have liked John for a while now and you just wouldn’t admit it, but now that this has happened it is your decision to whether you want to keep things the way they are, or if you want to take them to the next level. Personally, I think that if you really want John to be in your life forever than you shouldn’t move things further. If you date John then you run the risk of eventually breaking up and not being friends at all. But, if you stay friends you will always have each other’s back. If you stay just friends than you will never get to be in a romantic relationship with John, at least not now anyway. If John really has feelings for you and he wants to take things to the next level than he will ask you. If you think that it is the right thing to do then go for it. The decision is totally up to you and don’t let anybody tell you other wise. If you think that John don’t only like you because of your appearance that night than maybe you should say yes, but I think that he is just a guy who was playing around because he thought you looked attractive. If he really liked you for who you were all the time, he probably would have kissed you a long time ago. If I were in the situation I would say no because I wouldn’t want to ruin our friendship, but if you think it is different that’s fine. Feel free to ask me any advise if you need it but you probably wont. You are a smart girl Lorraine, do what your heart tell you.
