The business is driven on the mission of helping at-risk youth, and the fact that the agency is dedicated and committed to doing that provides a competitive advantage due to the high cost of entry (building residential facilities and acquiring administrative space) and lack of financial gain in return.
Advantage: limited substitutes available to clients. Criteria: substitutability, there are very few substitutes available to the specific client population the agency serves. The agency is established and licensed to provide its services.
