The quote that says “ if you try to save your life you’ll lose it”, shows why Cyrano doesn’t have many friends.He has been teased and backstabbed his whole life so tends to push others away.Because of those tragic events about him being teased about his nose if you aren’t a close friend of Cyrano he tends to lack respect for you.
