1. -Full bladder- When someone’s bladder is empty their blood pressure will decrease. Also when your bladder slowly fills, your blood pressure increases.
Temperature- Blood pressure tends to increase when someone is in a cold environment. Sometimes in class room it is chilly so their blood pressure reading might be a bit higher than expected.
-Smoking- Tobacco products such as cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco contain nicotine which will temporarily increase ones blood pressure.
-Not being physically active. People who are inactive tend to have higher heart rates. The higher your heart rate, the harder your heart must work with each contraction.
Stress. High levels of stress can lead to a temporary, increase in blood pressure.
2. Yes, the temperature changed during the exercise. Me being the participant; I noticed that every time I ran from one end to the other, I had to use more energy because my body would get warmer. Due to the fact that I was using more energy meant that my heart would have to pump blood fast and harder.
3. One of the mechanisms that the body uses to dissipate heat is by sweating. Your body tries to dehydrate its self by changing energy and turning it to sweat. By doing so the sweat runs down the body and tries to cool it down. Another way the body tries to get rid of heat it by getting rid of excuse fluid in the body. When someone drinks water the body will try to cool its self of but needing to go to the bathroom.
4. On average it should take around 15 mins to a healthy persons vital signs return to normal. That means they must be resting for the 15 mins.
