I choose “Do you readily seek help from others when you need it?” as my question for this assignment.

On reflection, I find that I often chose to try to solve a problem myself, rather than seeking help from others. I think that this has been true for most of my life. I don’t think this stems from a view that accepting help is bad, but rather I feel that other people have their own problems to deal with on a daily basis and I do not need to add to their problems by trying to have them solve mine. I can change my position on this if I find that I cannot resolve an issue on my own. I am not too proud to ask for help, I just feel that I should try to find my own solution before bothering other people. For small issues, I am sure that I can find my own best solution. Sometimes, my experience even teaches me that I will be better off in a similar situation in the future if I ask for help when the situation arises.
