Dear City Council,
Water is my passion. I grew up sailing the Great Lakes with my parents which fueled my passion for the outdoors and open water as a kid. Now I am 53 and still have that same passion. I want the people of Cooper’s Point to be able to experience the wonders of the sea. People of Cooper’s Point cannot take our water for granted. In other areas there is not this luxury of practically, or literally, having a sea in your backyard. I would love to use Cooper’s Point to provide these water wonders for the people of the community. My vision for Cooper’s Point is to make use of as much water as possible, build housing that will enable people to live on the water and also give people other entertainment in the area to relax and live life.
First step into developing Cooper’s Point would be to build 90 houses, some of them on the sea and some of them not. This will allow people that are crazy about the open water, like me, to live on the sea and enjoy the wonders of it. Next to the houses I would like to create a marina that will allow people to dock their boats, fuel up and get something to eat after being on the sea for the day. Also, a fishing port will be put close to the marina so that people can dock their boats, walk down to the port and fish. A golf course will be right before Route 101 that will be in very close proximity to the houses so that they are able to play with ease. This was a no-cost opportunity for people to be outside and enjoy the sea. A natural habitat preserve will also be put into Cooper’s Point. Yes, this will cost me some money and take up 20% of the space on Cooper’s Point but it is another great way for people to experience the open water. There will be a large pond that flows into the sea through a stream. This will demonstrate how important it is to preserve and protect the waters of the world because at some point in time, water will be a scarce resource in the world.
The other half of Cooper’s Point won’t focus on water but will be more of the entertainment side. On the other side of Route 101 there will be an entertainment district with movie theaters, restaurants, concert facilities and things like that. People in the community will be able to enjoy those things which will generate a lot of revenue. Next to all that good stuff there will be a swimming facility that will be for recreation but also for lessons. People will be able to learn how to swim so they are able to enjoy the sea that much more.
I didn’t get all of this without any sort of opportunity cost. I built 90 houses so I was not able to build the townhomes which would have helped out the elderly, or the apartments that could have
“Fenimore Coopers Literary Offences and Fenimore Cooper’s Further Literary Offences” By: Mark Twain As it’s title, “Fenimore Cooper’s Literary Offences,” has already suggested, its writer Mark Twain relentlessly criticizes James Fenimore Cooper and denies in intelligence on literature writing. Bill’s expected profit calculation can be summarized as follows: Net Profit=CAWUAW+CBWUBW+CAJUAJ+CBJUBJ + CAPUAP+CBPUBP=$74,666.67 Figure [ 4 ]: Bill Cooper's Net Profit Calculation As mentioned above it is important to note that the net profit does not take into account the $60,000 cost of the unused tomatoes. In pursuing Bill Cooper’s strategy and correcting for the missing fruit cost discussed previously, Cadman could expect gross profit before allocated…
brought to Cooper’s attention that although there was ample production capacity, it was impossible to produce all whole tomatoes because too small portion of the tomato crop was ‘A’ quality. RBC used a numerical scaling to record the quality of both raw produce and prepared products. This scale ran from 0 to 10, with the higher number representing better quality. Rating tomatoes according to this scale, grade ‘A’ tomatoes averaged 9 points per pound and grade B tomatoes averaged 5 points per pound…
Downtown Waterfront In chapter five of Camden After the Fall, the story of economic and financial struggle continues as the planners and politicians of the post-industrial city of Camden tries to change its reputation and appearance. The center point of this chapter on the city of Camden’s waterfront really interested me because I did not know the whole story of how the Camden Aquarium came into being. The main focus in this chapter consist of the pursuit of capitalist and economic growth from…

The model takes account of the functionally distinct tasks which must be carried out simultaneously at specific points throughout the NPD process and that the results must converge. And, due to iterations in the processes, this convergence is likely to happen several times. As the process moves from one step to another, the information gathered becomes more precise…

Eli sample Sandra Ward College Writing 12/1/13 Muhammad Ali Muhammad Ali is one of the greatest athletes the world has ever seen; he’s the most dominant boxer of all time. When it comes to Ali, there is no one better than him in my opinion. That is why this research paper is something I’ll enjoy writing about, because his life was and still is impactful to me in so many ways. The way this man went about his life some say was over confident but if you look back on his life he accomplished things…
stated that as the colonies had no representation in Parliament, the tax was unconstitutional and against their rights as Englishmen. In Great Britain, colonial representative Benjamin Franklin argued a similar point and warned that continued taxation could lead to rebellion. Proving his point, the “regulator movement”, a small group of North Carolina Scot-Irish farmers, spawned in response by lashing out again the British taxation. Parliament reluctantly repealed the tax, providing the American colonists…
