Anxiety will always be a part of our human race, with different accounts of manifestations, including but not limited to shyness, stage fright etc.. Since the 1900’s reported levels of anxiety has risen alarmingly all of the Country. Anxiety disorders constitute the most mental health problems around the Country afflicting thousands and even millions of people around the world (Andrews and Hunt, 1998). Anxiety is a normal human emotion that we all experience. But when panic and anxiety symptoms escalate into anxiety attacks and panic attacks, it may be an anxiety disorder. Anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety attacks and disorders (Andrews and Hunt, 1998). There are great treatments for this type of disorder including medication and psychotherapy. The purpose of this paper is to explain Anxiety associated with Panic Attacks to the general public.

This anxiety disorder characterizes the patient medical condition such as hyperthyroid, substance abuse, supraventricular, or asthmas that manifests as anxiety. Treatments include antidepressants, sedatives, benzodiazepine and cognitive therapy (Getzfeld, 2006).

A comparison of alprazolam and behavior therapy in treatment of panic disorder.

This article compares alprazolam and behavior therapy as treatments of anxiety and panic disorders. These patterns measures panic attacks, generalized anxiety, and clinical ratings measures. The alprazolam did not differ at all.

Characteristics of people with infrequent panic attacks.

This article states that panic symptom are frequently being reported as being the most severe were heart pounding, sweating, and trembling come into play. One or more panic attacks ere compared in this article and they found out that panic attacks occur in normal people and these attacks are similar to those of patients with well panic disorders (Bisson,2007).
Dr. King developed a test to measure anxiety and panic disorders. She sampled 50 FVSU students to take her five item test. The group of students was comprised of 25 men and 25 women. In this group, most were (20) African American, ten were Hispanic, and one person was Asian. King’s Miraculous Test of Depression is printed below:
