This spray diagram shows the conflict recognition- the case of misdirected faculty. It includes sighs and sources of conflicts, types of conflict and impact of conflict. There are three main perceptions about the sources of conflict, Tucker perception that includes;
First, the system map includes the sources of conflict that adopt three theories, Tucker's, Taylor's Montana's. Tucker said that resource inequities, personality clashes, student faculty, changes and ideology can cause conflict. types and impact of conflicts. Taylor said that differences among generation, old and new knowledge, new technology, personalities and ideological variations can lead to conflict. And Montana's contain competition, dependence on external constituents, differences in goals, communication, and organization structure. Also there is a forth cycle in sources of conflict that includes ADEA workshop participates suggestions that says that there are five sources of conflict, they are; personalities, ideology, old vs. new knowledge, dichotomy of new knowledge vs. old one and generational differences. Second, the types of conflict includes interpersonal, intrapersonal, intergroup and organizational. Intrapersonal happens within oneself, interpersonal and intergroup happen within tow or more individuals or group, and organizational may include competing with other competitor organization, or external constituent groups. There are eight possible sources of conflict; first, Changing and complications of new technology can lead to stressful changes. Workers who can't respond well to changes can become stressed, which increases the possibility of conflict in the workplace. Second, Interpersonal relationships, when different personalities in the same workplace came together, there is always a possibility they won't engage. Third, the relationship between supervisor and employees, a supervisor and employee can also experience conflict which makes the workplace more difficult. Fourth, external changes, when the company or the business faces some threats or competitors, it could lead to conflict between employees and even between upper levels of managers. Fifth, poor communication between workers. Sixth, subpar performance, when a worker in a department is not pulling his weight it could lead to conflict within the department. Seventh, harassment, it can take many forms in the workplace, such as sexual or racial harassment or even the hazing of a new employee. Companies that don’t have strong harassment policies can result many conflicts in the work area. Eighth, limited resources, when the company look to cut costs may scale back on resources such as office equipment. Employees may feel they are competing against each other for resources, which can create conflict
