It’s Party Time: The Big Day Planning a party can become an overwhelming event, if everything is put off to the last minute. The process takes a lot of time and focus to get every detail covered. Therefore, I have come up with a surefire way to help you plan for your party, without adding any more stress to your everyday life!
First of all, pick a time and date. With the help of knowing what the child(ren) like you then choose a theme you must decide where you will have the party, indoors or outside maybe a club house or your own home. When you have that decided then there are several other steps you must take in order for your party to be successful. Make a guest list make sure that the kids attending the party are the same age or around the same age, so that then you can decide on the day's activities; what time to eat, what games to play, what crafts to do, etc. Next up Order your party supplies; including favors, decorations, wrapping paper, tape, plates, plastic ware, cups, and piñatas. You can’t forget the entertainment; music and dj, magician, clown, farm animals, balloon bouncer, etc. Around maybe the 3rd week of planning you have decided on your party venue and what your theme will be, and the guest list is done then it’s time to start Sending out invitations; asking for RSVP's by a certain date and time. Place a list of those you invited next to the phone to record RSVP's. Remember just because you invite someone it does not mean they will be attending. If your guests will be allowed to bring someone make sure you put that on the invitation as well. Solicit help from family members and friends to do things like clean up, games, taking pictures, answering phones and doors. Team work makes the dream work. Getting all this together in week 3 gives your team time to say “Yes or No”, or arrange their schedule to be available. Now that a couple weeks have went by so now it’ crunch time. Rolling into weeks 2 and 1 before the big day it’s the weeks of confirmation and last minute purchases. If you haven't received any RSVP's, call to make
