Remember when you are writing your essay to use paragraphs to separate your ideas
Use the planner below to separate your ideas after you have completed your 4 Square.
Prompt: compare and contrast the writing style of the two authors who have written in the same genre.
Paragraph one- introduction- you introduce the title of your base book and the author of your base book and a brief explanation or introduction of the book
Introduce the title of your second book and the author of your second book and a brief explanation or introduction of the book.
Briefly explain the genre of both books and a very short explanation (1-2 lines) on the writing style of your genre
Paragraph two- you will start on the writing style of the author of your base book bringing in the examples from your base book.
You will also explain the plot of the book and what going on in your base book
Paragraph three- you will start on the writing style of the author of your second book bringing in the examples from you second book.
You will also explain the plot of your second book briefly
Paragraph four-introduce the characters and how each author introduces them and describes them in the text.
Paragraph five-would be the setting comparing with the writing style of the authors and how they explain and describe the setting and the significance (how the add to your understanding of the settings)
Paragraph six- themes (big ideas and messages in your book that the authors want
