How well did the interactants succed in common goals

Leah- Rolled eyes unsure what to talk about non verbal
Tom- Rolled eyes unsure what to talk about Non verbal
Bashar- Spoke about getting people to use condoms. Thought it was lame
Corlynne- Quickley took notes, smiled knowing that they knew what they were going to discuss

Louis- Nervous, didn’t have anything to say
Alicia- Tried to piggy back off of someone elses writings
Hallmein- nervous since ESL is second language
Julie- spoke for animal rights. Agreed testing was harmful but felt that activists went overboard. Mom had blood thrown on her for wearing a fur coat.
Bud- Gun control said criminals will get guns no matter what. Cited constitution
Naro- Uncomfortable with condom speech due to culture. In Japan not considered manly
Gretchen- Did not want to criticize Bashar but didn’t like the term lame. Brother lost part of his leg so it offends him. Wants more sensitivity to language
Brad- Agreed with Gretchen also threw in “guys” and “girls”

Kate- Liked that speakers weren’t afraid to take and admired willingness to take a position even if it didn’t match hers.
