Communication is very important when it comes to marriages. Couples communicate all the time but what kind of communication are they involved in as a couple? In the following paragraphs I will discuss a few ideas or information about my communication in general in the article viewed.

There was an important part mention in the article and it was the part that talked about how, “As a relationship expert, I do not talk about quantity; I talk about consistent, quality communication.” Schoenberg, N. (2011, Jan 17). This means it is not about what you say most of the time but how you say it. This means it is all about the quality of what is being said that is important.

I can relate a 100% to this article. At times you become comfortable with your partner and feel like you do not have to win your wife’s heart over and over again. My wife and I get caught up talking about the everyday things like daycare, bills and church. There has to be a time when you realize as an individual that self-disclosure is very important in your marriage. At times you are not going to understand everything your wife speaks
