Columbine

“The final portrait is often furthest from the truth.”Dave cullen author of the book columbine a story about two kids Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris. Eric and Dylan were “cool” high school students they got high and partied a lot but managing to get A’s. They made videos of them doing not so bright things. Eric was calm and even tempered he couldn't even fake intensity, in person he came off charming, confident, and engaging. Dylan was a live wire, in life he was timid and shy but not always quiet, trip his anger and he erupted. Everyone knew these boys but what they didn't know was that they have been planning an attack on columbine high school, They worked on making bombs and looked for ammunition. Dylan and Eric killed 13 people and left others wounded and later killed themselves in the library.
I have heard about school shootings before such as Sandy hook, I Have seen photos of the columbine shooting but never knew what is was until now. I honestly did not know I was going to like this book because I was in a rush looking up best selling non fiction books on amazon and saw one that looked interesting that read Columbine by Dave cullen so I bought it. I read the first few pages and immediately wanted to read to the end. It struck me as something that has been happening in society and I wanted to know more. It is crazy how some people come of as nice happy people on the outside but on the inside
