Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel(19 August 1883January 1971)Was a French fashion designer and founder of the Chanel brand.

Early Life
Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel was born to an unmarried mother, Eugenie Jeanne Devolle-known as Jeanne who worked as a laundrywoman, in the charity hospital run by the sisters of providence(a poorhouse)in Saumur,
France. She was her mothers second child with albert
