Xerox is a company is a well known for being a leader in document technology and services. They are now the leading enterprise for business process and document management. They offer global services from claim reimbursement and automated toll transactions to customer care centers as well as HR benefits management. This company has over 140,000 employees and 12,000 patents that are active and was founded in the 19oo's. They have over 180 locations all around the world. Their core values are as follows: delivering quality and excellence in all that they do, required premium returns on assets, using technology to develop market leadership, valuing their employees, behaving responsibly as a corporation, The kind of products that they supply are office solutions for example: office printers, scanners, and office software. Other examples are production printers, and continuous feed printers for graphic communications. Moreover, Xerox is a xerographic coping process which is a noun. Anne M. Mulcahy is someone I admire in this company because she was something like myself, but she set out to do something that she felt at first was maybe out of her control. She was a former chairperson and CEO of Xerox Corporation. She made chairperson in 2002 in January. She demonstrated integrity because she worked for this company for years and was unaware that she was going to be elected to take on such a job of being CEO. “ she stated she took the position feeling equal parts excitement as well as dreading the responsibility.”, but she stuck in their even though the same day she was elected to be CEO the company had a drop in stock that was in the 15% tile. She then contemplated on how she would feel the shoes and bring the company back to good standings without filing bankruptcy for the company being that they were already 17 billion in the hole. She then devised a plan to not only help effectively communicated with others as well as teaching the company her techniques which by the way was the single most important component of the company's successful turnaround. Effective communication is key in a business world because without communication things could easily be misunderstood. Communication helps the employer convey the company's demands as well as help the employees understand were the company is trying to go and what it will take to get there. Communication in a work place should be clear and to the point with a tone that speaks and sound business like. For example you wouldn't slouch over while talking to your boss nor will you talk slang such as “yeah I was out there chilling and didn't realize that my break was over my bad”. If I was in her shoes I would have done the same thing because first she figured out what the company was lacking and came up with a solution for example she noticed that communication barriers were mostly the blame for not meeting company goals.
