Extended definition The Best Outcome Optimism is being able to see a bright future at hand through tough times. Often confused with stupidity, because optimism can be the unfavorable outcome in most realistic situations. Have faith, trust everything will work out, put forth the effort, or let things fall into place, all prime examples of thoughts that an optimist will hold near and dear during tough trials. Optimism is only what is made of it. There is the most common option to turn it down and walk away or use it as a purpose for self motivation. In war the opposing force has an advantage of 750 men to the minority's one. To tack on the pressure, the battle takes place in the larger platoon's homeland which gives them the advantage of knowing the land as well as wanting to win on their own turf. The odds are the well populated troop will demolish the small bundle of men. The larger group heads into battle with thoughts of ease. Reality is if the army with limited numbers enters this battle with a strict pessimistic attitude, they will lose, because they already laid themselves down before hand. Optimism is powerful, a game changer even. With optimism, the soldiers of the small band can leap mountains. Soldiers will subconsciously make all the right decisions, driven to work hard to make their optimism truthful. The optimistic reinforcement allows goals, limits, and adrenaline to exceed reasonable expectations. The small platoon must enter battle with their heads strong and hearts stronger to make the first step in achieving the unachievable. Optimism is a constant in the success equation. The optimism multiplies and becomes a driving agent then add in the work and strategy. With optimism, new doors open and a small window of opportunity will arise. Take this chance by storm. Miracles occur when people believe. It is important to know that optimism is not a guarantee, but just because it did not work this time does not mean it has no chance to work next time.
