Classical Orchestra
• They were small orchestras, sometimes consisting of only one to two people per instrument/part. 25 members in a typical Classical-Period orchestra.

• Classical Orchestra: Strings: 1st violins, 2nd violins, violas, cellos, double basses. Woodwinds: 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons. Brass: 2 French horns, 2 trumpets. Percussion: 2 timpani
• Flute: head joint, body joint, foot joint, embouchure plate.Further modern techniques are the breathing of notes, without really attacking them; changes of volume and tone colour on a long note; jet whistles, which are produced by closing the embouchure hole completely with the lips; singing and playing simultaneously; circular breathing.
• Violin: A violin consists of a body or corpus, a neck, a bridge, a soundpost, four strings, and various fittings. The fittings are the tuning pegs, tailpiece and tailgut, endpin, possibly one or more fine tuners on the tailpiece, and perhaps a chinrest, either attached directly over the tailpiece or to the left of it. Playing the violin entails holding the instrument under the chin, supported by the left shoulder (see below for variations of this posture). The strings are sounded either by drawing the bow across them (arco), or sometimes by plucking them (pizzicato). The left hand regulates the sounding length of the strings by stopping them against the fingerboard with the fingers, producing different notes
• Trumpet: The trumpet is constructed of brass tubing bent twice into a rounded oblong shape.
