General grant was the 18th president of the united states and the 4th or 5 th general lincoln had to lead the civil war. Born on April 27, 1862 in point plesant, Ohio by Jesse and Hanna grant. in his early years he was pretty much a spoilled kid, hs parents let him be free unlike his younger sibilings.
